How to Conserve Dell Ink

When it comes to using a printer and Dell ink, there are plenty of great ways to stretch a dollar. The most obvious strategy is to use as little Dell ink as possible. It's amazing how much ink you can conserve by using a few basic tips and tricks. You can learn a few of the very best ones by checking out the helpful information below.

The vast majority of word processing programs and other applications allow you to preview the pages that you'd like to print prior to doing so. Make liberal use of the print preview feature to avoid printing way more than you'd like. Be especially diligent when printing things directly from the Internet; you could easily waste a ton of Dell ink by inadvertently printing out an entire website.

Many times, we only really need to print out a tiny fraction of the information that's on a page; why print the whole thing, then? Cut and paste the section that you really need and use a word processing program to print it out. When you print way more than you need, you use excessive amounts of Dell ink. Over the long run, that will cost you a lot of extra cash.

If you're one of those people who only prints once every blue moon, get into the habit of printing a test page at least once per week. Many times, Dell ink cartridges go dry or are otherwise damaged due to inactivity. Set a reminder for yourself so that you print at least one or two pages every week.
